To teenagers these days (ermahgerd! I can’t help but saying that because I’ll already be turning 20):
Depression is not a cool word at all. You are way too young to think about death and being cheated on by society. It’s not society that molds you, it is you yourself. Just because a group of so called “mean girls” at school doesn’t want you or think that you’re not pretty enough you’d already believe them? Look closely enough in the mirror and see who’s the most beautiful person . The sun never always shines brightly but you can always bring an umbrella with you and play with the puddles while it’s raining.
The point is, would you rather choose to live a life trying to please other people but lose your sanity as you try to put with the never-ending demands of society (society’s facade of fucking perfection)?
Or be that one happy person, surrounded by the people he (or she) loves. Does what he loves and what completes him and just be..yeah. HAPPY.
No more putting up to fit in because the right set of people will love you for who you are.
No more dramas. Throw those “drugs”, “alcohol”, “cutting”,”depression” shit out of your life.
JUST BE CONFIDENT. CONTENDED and HAPPY.
Even though we put up a drama scene during that day and only spent the evening with pizza, candycorn, that lame-ass movie and getting comfortable on the couch. It was a day worth dying for, if I missed it.
No fancy dinner or flowers most people expect. Just the two of us together :)
Our love can never be measured by those silly stuffs. What made it worthwhile is by being with each other’s company during that special day. That’s the most romantic moment I ever had. I love you so much Dave, Happy Anniversary!
